The first China International Wood and Wood Trade Conference was held during Nov. 3-5, 2006 in Dongguan , Guangdong Province, the international spill trading center. The event attracted more than twenty famous wood companies and wood product buyers from USA, Canada, Burma, UK, Germany, New Zealand, Laos, Russia, Mozambique, France, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan etc. The well –known experts and huge timber companies in and abroad gave wonderful lectures and answered questions locale, and the participants benefited a lot and asked for the lectures from committee. Around 200 people attended the Conference and the intent business volume reached several billions. The Conference has a far-reaching meaning in driving Chinese Wood international development.

The Second China International Wood and wood products Trade Conference was held on 28-30, April,2007 in Beijing. One of the important subjects in this session is the Summit Forum, The one-day China Timber Summit Forum had become the highlight of the entire general assembly. At the Summit Forum, Kong Zhuo, the commissioner of China Forestry Administration Timber Industry Management Office, made a splendid speech about the development of China's forestry and wood products .
The Vice- governor of Russian government made a report about how to attract foreign investment and create favorable conditions to develop lumber raw material along Angar River . Mr. Lin Feng Ming, the Market research Center of China Forestry and Forest Products, made the speech about “'world and China's timber production. The Status and Analysis of Consumer and Trade”. Dr. Zhao Guangjie, The dean of Material institute in Beijing Forestry University. Big Asian Group, Texas. Workers in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Yanbian Group. Heilongjiang Forest Industry. Nature floor. Yangzi Group. Kang Wen wood. KLM wood companies. Allchin Paper Group. Canada Wood Association. The leaders of these companies had attended the conference. There were about 400 domestic and foreign attendees, and the intent turnover reached at several billions, It had a profound significance to impel Chinese wood industry’s international development.

The China International Wood and Wood and Wood Products Trade Conference that lasted for three days has satisfactorily ended on December 8th, 2007.
